Can I put our company brouchure online?
Yes, although it is recommended that you tailor it to the medium rather than expecting the same content to work as well on the web as it does on paper. We can help you create a site that has the same feel as your brochure while utilising the added benefits that the web offers.

How can I be sure that I'll like your design?
Before commencing on your website we will discuss the overall approach that will be taken to build your website. As work progresses we will publish our work for you to to view. This allows us to built in harmony with your own views of how the site should look. You will be kept informed throughout the whole design progress.

Should I have an entry or splash page?
We don't recommend that you do this for several reasons. Firstly it is just plain annoying for your visitor to wait for a page to download simply for a message that says "click here to enter".

This goes for Flash intros as well. Most people simply click ont he "skip intro" link so why put a barrier in front of them?

On top of this Search Engines give the greatest priority to your home page and if there isn't anything of use contained on it you are wasting a good opportunity AND costing your site valuable traffic.

How long will it take you to design my website?
Timing can vary considerably depending on the complexity of the features you require. A typical brochure site is likely to take between 2-3 weeks to develop and test.

Once your site is up and running we will register it with the search engines. Due to various search engines practices and policies it can take up to 8 weeks to appear on some of them. There are ways of accelerating the process and some are discussed - HERE. Some search engines now charge to list you and we can advise which are worth considering.

How will people find my site?
Just having a website will not instantly bring millions of visitors to your site. Websites need to be actively marketed on the search engines and they must be designed with this in mind. We build search engine friendly websites and know how to bring an appreciable amount of traffic to your site. Of course you shouldn't forget to mention your web address in your traditiional advertising, company letterheads and business cards etc.
